Silver for Talking Shrimpers
The Talking Shrimpers Podcast is proud to mark its first podcast award: Silver, Best Non-League Club Podcast, Non-League Bible Awards.
That wording reflects the public information we have been able to verify. The show’s episode published on 4 July says the team was celebrating its first podcast award after taking Silver. A public post from Phil Parker identifies the category as Best Non-League Club Podcast. We have not found a complete results page published by the awards organiser, so we are not adding a ranking, shortlist position or wider result that the available sources do not establish.
Recognition for a fan-led show
For a fan-led podcast, recognition like this means a great deal. Talking Shrimpers was created as a respectful, family-friendly place for Southend United supporters to share opinions, hear from guests and enjoy the stories around the club.
The award is a welcome milestone, but it does not change the reason for making the show. The focus remains on honest football conversation, the people who make the Southend community special and the moments that keep supporters talking long after the final whistle.
It also belongs to the listeners and guests who have supported the podcast. Every view, message, contribution and shared episode has helped the show find its place in the wider non-league conversation.
